Please make your airline reservations to arrive on Wednesday (9/12/2009) afternoon or evening.

We have arranged a deal for accommodations at the Townhouse Inn in Palo Alto. It's located within 2.5 miles from PARC. A special rate for the TMSP workshop attendees at a rate of $79.00 inclusive of shuttle to and from PARC plus a shuttle service to dinner on a specified date, has been arranged.

Shuttle to PARC
Those who are staying at the Townhouse Inn will have a  shuttle service to and from PARC. If you require a special transportation arrangement, please let Mali know.

Arrival at PARC
When you arrive at PARC, please come to the visitors reception area and tell the receptionist that you are a participant in the TMSP workshop and ask for Mali Sarpangal or Peter Pirolli. One of us will direct you to the conference room where the workshop will be held.

Special Arrangements
If you have any special needs or requests, please don't hesitate to let Mali know.

Funding and Reimbursement
PARC services will cater continental breakfast, coffee breaks and lunch. A group dinner on Thursday, December 10, will also be provided to workshop participants.
To simplify the expensing process, the organizers have decided to provide honoraria for workshop participants who will then be responsible for their own transportation costs, as well as meals beyond those provided through the workshop.
There are 3 classes of honorarium:
1. Local = 100$
2. West of the Mississippi = 800$
3. East of the Mississippi = 1000$
